Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Moderate summer weather conditions are expected to prevail Tuesday and Wednesday in the hilly areas and plains, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Clouds will appear at low altitudes with northwesterly moderate winds to brisk picking up at times, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 32 degrees Celsius in Amman, 30 in the northern areas, dropping down to 18 and 17 respectively at nights. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 42 degrees and lows sliding to 27, the JMD added.
Mercury levels will rise few degrees on Thursday, bringing relatively hot conditions in many regions, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with northwesterly moderate to brisk at times, the JMD noted
