Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures will slightly rise on Tuesday bringing relatively hot weather in the hilly areas and the plains, and hot conditions in other parts of the Kingdoms with northwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
A further rise in mercury levels is expected on Wednesday, becoming 3-4 degrees above their annual average, but similar conditions will remain in the mountainous areas and the plains, while it will be hot to extremely hot in other regions with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, it added.
Temperatures will again on Thursday, but relatively hot conditions will continue to prevail in the hilly areas and the plains, while it be hot in other areas with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, blowing dust in the Badia regions, the department noted,
Daytime temperatures forecast for today will reach 35 degrees Celsius in Amman, 33 in the northern cities and 32 in the southern governorates, dropping down to 23, 22 and 18 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 43 degrees and lows standing at 30 at night, it further added.
