Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures on Saturday are expected to few degrees below annual average, creating moderate conditions in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be relatively hot in the Badia region and the Dead Sea with low clouds, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said.
At night, pleasant weather will prevail across the country, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, it added.
Moderate conditions will prevail in the mountainous areas and the plains, while it will be relatively hot in the desert and hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the Aqaba, with clouds at low altitudes mainly early in the morning.
A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Monday, bringing normal summer conditions in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be relatively hot in the Badia region and hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD said.
Daytime temperatures forecast for today in Amman will reach 31 degrees Celsius, 30 in the southern cities and 28 in the northern governorates. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 40 degrees and lows standing at 28 at night, it further added.
