Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures on Tuesday are expected to rise few degrees above their annual average bringing relatively hot conditions across the Kingdom, while it will be hot in Badia areas, the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust at times mainly in the Badia region, the JMD said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern areas will hover around 33 degrees Celsius dropping down to 21 and 22 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 41 degrees Celsius and lows sliding to 29 at night, the JMD added.
A further rise in mercury levels is also forecast over the next two days, but similar conditions will continue to prevail across many parts of the country, with northeasterly moderate to brisk winds, the department noted.
