Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Normal summer conditions are expected Thursday in hilly areas and plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the country with low clouds and northwesterly moderate winds, blowing dust in the Badia regions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Daytime temperatures forecast for today in Amman and the northern cities will hover around 33 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 22 at night. Mercury levels in the southern governorates will range between a high of 32 degrees Celsius and a low of 19, while it will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 43 degrees and lows sliding to 28, the JMD added.
Similar conditions will continue to prevail over the next two days in many parts of the Kingdom, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with low clouds and northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
