Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures are forecast to on Saturday, becoming around annual average and creating normal summer conditions in most regions, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Pleasant conditions will prevail in most regions at night, while it will be northwesterly moderate blowing dust at night, the JMD added.
Mercury levels are expected to rise over the next two days, but similar summer conditions will continue in many parts of the country and hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the port city of Aqaba.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 30 degrees Celsius dropping down to 20 at night. In the southern governorates mercury levels will stand at 27 during daytime dropping down to 17 at night. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 41 degrees, dropping down to 26 at night, the JMD said further.
