Oil derivatives prices in 4th week of May

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prices of oil derivatives dropped during the fourth week of May, according to data released on Monday by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

According to the data, the price of 95-octane gasoline went down from $668.8 per ton in the third week to $658.5 in the fourth week, a decrease of 1.5 percent, while the price of 90-octane gasoline declined by 1.7 percent, going from $649.7 to $638.8 per ton.

Diesel prices also fell by 2.3 percent going from $631.7 per ton to $617.1, while the prices of kerosene tumbled by 2.7 percent, from $668.4 to $650.2.

The prices of liquefied gas for May stood at $528.8 per ton, a decrease of 0.1 percent compared to April.

In the fourth week of May, benchmark Brent crude prices plummeted by 3.4 percent, going down from $73.4 to $70.9 per barrel.
