Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A rise in temperatures is expected on Monday creating fair conditions in most parts of the Kingdom, while it will be relatively warm in the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley with low clouds, according to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
At night, cold weather will prevail in many regions with northwesterly light to moderate winds, the JMD added.
Sunny and fair conditions will prevail across the country over the next two days, as mercury levels will further rise and becoming 4-5 degrees above their annual average, while winds will be northwesterly light to moderate, the department added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will hover around 17 degrees Celsius in Amman and the northern cities dropping down to 9 and 10 degrees respectively. Colder conditions are forecast in the southern region with temperatures range between a high 15 degrees of and a low of 5 at night. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 27 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 15, the JMD said.
