Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A cold air mass and an accompanying depression's impact are forecast to affect the Kingdom, on Saturday, as heavy rainfalls will take place nationwide, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
The depression, centered over Cyprus, will cause the formation of flashfloods in valleys and plains, with westerly moderate winds, picking up at times the JMD added.
As of the next 48 hours a slight rise in temperatures is expected, as pleasant weather conditions are forecast to prevail countrywide, the JMD said.
Temperatures in the capital Amman for today will reach a high of 11 degrees Celsius during daytime, dropping to 6 degrees at night.
