Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Cold conditions are expected to prevail in most parts of the Kingdom, while it will be pleasant in Aqaba and the Jordan Valley, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Clouds are expected to appear at different altitudes with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD said further.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the southern governorates will reach 14 degrees Celsius, and 15 in the northern cities, dropping down at night to 5, 3 and 6 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 25 degrees and lows standing at 13 at night, the JMD said .
Cold weather will continue tomorrow with clouds at low altitudes and a chance for scattered showers in the northern region, while winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk stirring dust in the desert areas.
The weather is expected to remain generally stable on Friday, with cold conditions across many parts of the country, while it will be pleasant in Aqaba and the Jordan Valley.
