Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Omar Razzaz Sunday said that Jordan enjoys a positive and encouraging investing environment with its economy being able to withstand and overcome geopolitical challenges in the region.
In an interview on the sidelines of the "Jordan Initiative 2019: Growth and Opportunities" conference in London last week, which Alarabiya news channel aired on Sunday, Razzaz said foreign investors who run investments in Jordan and took part in last week's event delivered positive testimonies on Jordan and said they are optimistic about their business in the Kingdom.
"World countries' and investors' feedback on Jordan was very positive. The conference was an extraordinary opportunity for Jordan to talk about the last ten years that were full of challenges in the Arab region as a whole and their economic impact on Jordan," Razzaz added.
"Most of our challenges came from outside of our borders and we managed to control them," he said, adding that "we now have a strong and attracting economic atmosphere and we have taken the necessary measures to enhance it, and we are in a good position to bring investors from all over the world."
He emphasized that creating job opportunities in Jordan is a priority, and that Jordan has "tremendous energies" among the youth and an advanced education level, which needs investments and an encouraging environment for innovation.
