Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Saturday received Iraqi Minister of Industry and Trade Saleh Al Jabouri in the presence of Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Tariq Hammouri and Jordan's ambassador to Iraq Muntasir Uqleh.
Talks during the meeting focused on means to forge closer economic and trade ties between the two countries.
The two sides stressed the importance of implementing agreements signed between the two countries including activating a decision taken by the Iraqi Cabinet in 2017 to exempt Jordanian goods from custom duties.
They also reviewed the establishment of a joint economic zone on the Jordanian-Iraqi border.
