Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Cold weather conditions are expected to prevail on Thursday with partly cloudy skies and a chance for scattered showers accompanied by thunder in the northern, central and eastern regions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Winds will be northwesterly moderate, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 14 degrees Celsius, while it will be 12 degrees in the southern governorates, dropping down to 5 and 2 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 25 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 13, the JMD explained.
On Friday, cold weather is expected to continue with clouds at different altitudes and a chance for rainfall in different parts of the country, while winds will also be northwesterly moderate.
A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Saturday, but the weather will remain cold across the Kingdom while pleasant conditions will be prevail in Aqaba and the Jordan Valley.
