Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively cold conditions is expected Monday across many parts of the Kingdom, while it will be pleasant in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief.
Winds will be southeasterly moderate picking up at times and stirring dust in the desert, the JMD said further.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will hover around 17 degrees Celsius across many parts of the country, dropping down at night to 6 in the capital and northern governorates and standing at 4 degrees in the southern parts. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 25 degrees and lows dropping down to 12 at night, the JMD added.
A slight rise in mercury levels is expected Tuesday, but the weather will stay relatively cold and dusty in most regions, and warm in Aqaba and the Jordan Valley.
Clouds will appear at various altitudes with a chance for scattered showers mainly in the southern cities including the port city of Aqaba.
Unstable weather conditions is expected on Wednesday with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and drizzles that might turn later on the day to heavy in many parts of the country including Aqaba, the JMD added.
