Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Sunday becoming 3-4 degree above their seasonal average. Therefore, it will be fair in most regions and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with south easterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Similar conditions will continue to prevail on Monday and Tuesday with some high clouds and south easterly moderate to brisk winds, blowing dust in the desert areas, the JMD added.
Clouds at various altitudes are expected on Tuesday night with a chance for light rain in the southern parts of the country, while winds will be southeasterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in many regions, the department noted.
Daytime temperatures forecast for today will reach 17 degrees Celsius in Amman, the northern and southern cities, dropping down at night to 6,10 and 3 degrees respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 25 degrees and lows standing at 13, the JMD said.
