Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A Jordanian pilgrim was killed and 6 others were injured as the bus they were travelling in to perform Umrah (lesser pilgrimage) to Makkah rammed into a herd of camels near the Tayma desert oasis northwestern Saudi Arabia.
"The Foreign Ministry is following up, through the Jordanian Consulate in Jeddah, on the accident involving Jordanian pilgrims", the director of operations at the ministry said.
The ministry's operations center is coordinating with the consulate in Jeddah to ensure providing necessary medical care to the injured.
