Jordanian announced dead in Japan

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A Jordanian citizen died in a car accident in the Japanese capital of Tokyo, the Foreign Ministry's operations director announced Wednesday evening.

The Foreign Ministry's official said initial reports indicate that while the man was in a pedestrian zone, he was hit by car and taken to the hospital where he was announced dead.

Family of the deceased were informed of the accident, while the ministry's operations center, in coordination with the Jordanian embassy in Tokyo, initiated procedures to transfer the body to the Kingdom at the request of his family, immediately after the investigation is concluded, the official noted.
