Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) is currently assessing the situation at Syria’s Damascus International Airport in order to decide whether, or not, UAE carriers can resume flights to the city.
The GCAA will decide whether to resume flights to the Damascus International Airport once its committee, created to assess the situation, releases its report, GCAA Director-General Saif Al-Suwaidi said.
Travellers’ safety tops our priorities, Al Suwaidi stressed, highlighting that the GCAA would take all the necessary steps to ensure the safety and security of both travellers and jets flying to the airport.
