Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Cold and partly cloudy weather is expected to prevail Thursday in most parts of the country with a chance for scattered showers in the western regions and north-westerly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 13 degrees Celsius, 14 in the northern cities and 10 in the southern governorates, dropping down at night to 6, 8 and 5 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 24 degrees and lows standing at 13 at night, the JMD said.
A slight rise in temperatures is expected over the weekend, returning back to their seasonal average, but it will stay relatively cold in many parts of the Kingdom and pleasant in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with clouds at different altitudes.
