Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively cold weather with partly cloudy skies are expected to prevail Wednesday, with a chance for scattered showers across the country, according to the Jordan Meteorological (JMD).
Heavy rain accompanied by thunder is also expected in the evening in the eastern and southeastern regions, causing floods in valleys and lowlands, the JMD said further.
Temperatures expected in Amman and the northern cities for today will hover around 20 degrees Celsius and reaching 18 in the southern cities, dropping at night to 12 and 9 degrees respectively. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will register a high of 30 degrees and a low of 19.
On Thursday, a slight rise in temperatures is expected, but the weather will remain relatively cold with clouds at different altitudes and a chance for scattered showers in different regions.
Unstable weather conditions will start affecting the Kingdom on Friday, bringing cloudy skies with rain, turning heavy at night and accompanied by thunder and hail at times.
