Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The weather on Tuesday is expected to be relatively cold with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and showers at times in different parts of the Kingdom, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief.
Heavy rain accompanied by thunder is also expected mainly in the northern and central regions with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD said further.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 19 degrees Celsius, 20 in the northern cities and 17 in the southern governorates, dropping down at night to 11, 12 and 8 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 29 degrees and lows standing at 18 at night, the JMD said .
A slight rise in temperatures is forecast Wednesday and Thursday, but cloudy to partly cloudy skies will remain with scattered showers in different parts of the country, which might turn heavy in the southern and eastern . Winds will be northeasterly moderate, the JMD added .
