Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Pleasant conditions are expected to prevail on Wednesday across many parts of the country, while it will be moderate in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) .
Cold weather will prevail at night with southeasterly moderate winds, picking up at times.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 23 degrees Celsius, in the northern and southern cities 22 degrees , dropping down at night to 11, 10 and 9 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 34 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 22 degrees at night.
A slight rise in temperature is expected Thursday and Friday, bringing pleasant weather in most parts of the country, while it will remain hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the JMD added.
On Friday night, unstable weather is forecast with clouds at various altitudes and showers that may turn heavy and possibly thundery in the southern region, the JMD said further.
