The Ifta' Department expressed its deepest condolences to the "one big Jordanian family and the families of the children, and those who passed as martyrs in the flash floods". In a statement, the department also wished the injured a speedy recovery.

The Evangelical Synod in Jordan said in a statement that it "shared the pain of the one Jordanian family in these difficult times that our country is passing through after the loss of a group of our dear sons and daughters in the flash floods". It said Synod churches will hold special prayers on Sunday for the victims and their families.
