Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Saturday, but they will remain 4-5 degrees below average; therefore relatively cold conditions will prevail in the capital, the hilly areas and plains, while it will be moderate in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD), clouds at low altitudes in early morning hours mainly in the central and northern parts of the Kingdom, with easterly light to moderate winds are also forecast.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 20 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 13 and 14 respectively, while it will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 30 degrees and lows standing at 22, the JMD added.
Another slight rise in mercury levels is predicted over the next two days, bringing pleasant conditions across many parts of the country with southeasterly moderate to brisk winds picking up at times and causing dust in the Badia region, the JMD said further.
