Media spokesman of the Public Security Department Lieutenant Colonel Amer Sartawi said that among the cases, which were followed by the department's personnel, was a suspect involved in financial cases worth JD4.4 million. "After collecting information on the whereabouts of the suspect, he was arrested in Karak," Lt. Colonol Sartawi said in a statement. He added that a wanted man was arrested for 24 cases worth JD500,000, noting that the man has been in hiding since 2016. Another 31 suspects were also arrested for financial and criminal cases in the governorates of Amman, Balqa, Zarqa, Jerash, Irbid and Karak.
