Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Autumn-like conditions are forecast to continue Monday and Tuesday across many parts of the Kingdom, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, with high clouds and northwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said.
Scattered local showers are expected Tuesday night mainly in the eastern parts of the country, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, blowing dust in the southern and eastern regions.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 29 degrees Celsius, in the northern parts 27 and 25 in the southern cities, dropping down at night to 17, 18 and 16 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 34 degrees and lows standing at 22, the JMD added.
Similar autumnal weather conditions will continue on Wednesday across many parts of the country, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with the remaining chance of local showers at night, the JMD added.
