Pence was asked on the Hugh Hewitt syndicated radio program if Washington would send FBI investigators to Turkey if Saudi Arabia requested it. “I think the United States of America stands ready to assist in any way,” Pence said. On Tuesday, US President Donald Trump said he does not know anything about Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi’s disappearance. The Turkish ministry of foreign affairs had stated that Saudi Arabia has provided all assistance and cooperation in the case of the missing journalist who has disappeared in Istanbul last week. Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - US Vice President Mike Pence said on Wednesday the United States is ready to help in any way in the investigation of the disappearance of prominent Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, according to Reuters.
