Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures on Monday and Tuesday are forecast to hover around their annual average, as moderate autumn conditions will prevail in most regions, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Clouds at high and medium altitudes are also expected with a chance for scattered showers in the eastern part of the Kingdom, while winds will be northwesterly moderate, picking up at times, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 28 degrees Celsius, 27 in the northern cities and 26 in the southern governorates, dropping down to 16, 17 and 15 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 34 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 24, the JMD explained.
On Wednesday, a slight in temperatures is expected but autumnal weather will continue across many parts of the country, but it will stay relatively hot conditions in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Light showers are also forecast in the eastern parts and may extend to some central regions.
