Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures on Saturday and Sunday are expected to rise few degrees above annual average, creating moderate conditions in the hilly areas and the eastern plains, while it will be relatively hot in the Badia region, the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD), clouds at high altitudes with light to moderate northwesterly winds are also forecast over the two days.
Daytime temperatures expected in the capital for today will reach 30 degrees Celsius, 28 in the northern and southern cities, dropping down at night to 17, 18 and 15 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 37 degrees and lows sliding to 26, the JMD said further.
A slight in mercury levels are forecast on Monday, bringing spring-like conditions across many parts of the country, but remaining relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the port city of Aqaba, the JMD added.
Northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, stirring dust in the eastern, are also expected on Monday with high altitude clouds, it further said.
