Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Hot weather conditions will prevail across the Kingdom on Sunday as temperatures will be 4-6 degrees above their seasonal average, according to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Medium and high altitude clouds are also expected with a weak chance for scattered rain at night in various regions. Winds will southeasterly moderate changing to northwesterly, the JMD added.
On Monday, mercury levels will few degrees becoming around their annual average. Therefore, moderate conditions will prevail in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom. Medium and high altitude clouds are also expected with scattered rain accompanied by thunder at times in various areas of the county, while winds will be north westerly moderate to brisk, the Department noted.
Temperatures will slightly rise on Tuesday, but similar moderate conditions will continue in the mountainous areas and the plains, while it will be hot in other regions with partly cloudy skies and a chance for rain in the southern and eastern parts of the Kingdoms.
Temperatures in Amman for today will reach a high of 36 degrees Celsius and a low of 24 degrees, while in the Gulf of Aqaba daytime temperatures will reach 41 degrees sliding down to 29 at night.
