Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Moderate weather conditions will continue to prevail on Thursday in the hilly areas and eastern plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the Kingdom with northwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Maximum temperatures expected for today will reach 30 degrees Celsius in the capital, 31 in the northern cities and 29 in the southern governorates, dropping down to 18, 19 and 17 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 37 degrees and lows standing at 25, the JMD added.
A further rise in mercury levels is expected on Friday, but similar moderate conditions will continue in the mountainous areas and plains, while it will be relatively hot in the Badia regions and hot in other areas of the country with clouds at various altitudes and northwesterly moderate winds, the department noted.
Temperatures will continue to rise on Saturday becoming 3-4 degrees above their seasonal average. Therefore, it will relatively hot in the hilly areas and plains and hot in other regions with northwesterly moderate winds picking up at night.
