Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Pleasant summer conditions are expected to prevail Monday in the hilly areas and the eastern plains, while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom, according to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
The weather will change at night becoming relatively cold in many areas with scattered clouds at low altitudes and northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 29 degrees, dropping down to 18 and 20 respectively, while it will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 37 degrees and lows standing at 25, the JMD stated.
Mercury levels will rise few degrees on Tuesday, becoming around their annual average and bringing moderate conditions in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with low clouds and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the department noted.
A further rise in temperatures is expected on Wednesday, creating relatively hot conditions in Amman, the mountainous highlands and the plains, while it will be hot in other regions.
Low clouds are also forecast with northeasterly to northwesterly moderate winds , the JMD further said.
