Impact of hot, dry air mass starts to tapper off

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures on Wednesday are forecast to few degrees and become around annual average, as the impact of a hot and dry air mass eases off, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said.
According to the JMD daily brief, normal summer conditions will prevail in the capital, the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the country.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 33 degrees Celsius and hover around 30 in the northern and southern cities, dropping down at night to 20, 19 and 17 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 40 degrees and lows standing at 27, the JMD added.
Another in mercury levels is also expected over the next two days, but similar summer conditions will continue with clouds at various altitudes mainly in the western parts of the Kingdom.
Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the desert region, the JMD added.
