Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures on Saturday are forecast to 2-3 degrees below average, creating moderate conditions in the hilly areas and the eastern plains, while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, with low- altitude clouds covering the western highlands.
Daytimes temperatures forecast for today in Amman, the northern and southern cities will hover around 29 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 20, 19 and 15 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 40 degrees and lows standing at 28, the department said.
Similar weather conditions are expected to prevail on Sunday, but with low clouds in the northern and central parts of the country.
On Monday, temperatures will return back to their seasonal average, bringing normal summer conditions in the hilly areas and the eastern plains, while it will be hot in other regions with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
