Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight in mercury levels is forecast on Thursday, but they will remain above their annual average. Therefore, it will be relatively hot in the hilly areas, the eastern plains and the Badia regions, while it will be hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman, the northern, southern cities will hover around 33 degrees Celsius dropping to 22, 21 and 17 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 41 degrees and lows standing at 30, the JMD added.
A further in mercury levels is expected over the next two days, moving back to their seasonal levels and creating normal summer conditions in many parts of the country, with westerly to north westerly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD noted.
