Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively hot conditions are expected to prevail Tuesday in the hilly areas and the eastern plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the Kingdom with southwesterly moderate to northwesterly brisk winds at times, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 34 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 24 degrees at night. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 43 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 31, the JMD added.
A slight rise in mercury levels is forecast on Wednesday, becoming above their annual average and creating hot conditions in many areas of the country, while it will be very hot in the Dead Sea, the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with southwesterly moderate to brisk winds at times, the department noted.
Temperatures will again on Thursday, bringing normal summer conditions in the hilly areas and the eastern plains, while it will remain hot in the other regions with westerly to northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD further said.
