Normal summer conditions expected Monday

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Normal summer conditions are expected to prevail Monday in the hilly areas and the eastern plains, while it will be relatively hot in the Badia region and hot in the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Low and medium altitude clouds are also forecast in the northern and central areas, while winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk at times, the JMD said.
Temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 32 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 23 degrees at night. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 40 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 30, the JMD added.
Temperatures will slightly rise on Tuesday, creating relatively hot weather in the hilly areas and the eastern plains, while it will be hot in the other parts of the Kingdom with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD noted.
A further rise in mercury levels is also forecast on Wednesday, becoming 3-4 degrees above their seasonal average. Therefore, hot conditions will prevail across many parts of the country, while it will be very hot in the Dead Sea, the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds at times, the department further said.
