Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Normal summer conditions are expected to prevail Thursday and Friday in the hilly areas, while it will be hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Daytime temperatures forecast for today in Amman and the northern cities will hover around 32 degrees Celsius dropping down to 22 in both areas, while mercury levels will stand at 31 in the southern governorates sliding down at night to 18. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 42 degrees and lows standing at 28, the JMD explained.
Temperatures will few degrees on Saturday, creating moderate conditions in the highlands, the Badia region and the eastern plains, but it will remain hot in the Jordan valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
Clouds at low altitudes with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds are also forecast, the JMD said.
