Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Normal summer conditions are forecast to prevail on Sunday in the hilly areas and the eastern plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the Kingdom with westerly moderate to brisk winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Maximum temperatures expected today in the capital and the northern will hover around 32 degrees Celsius dropping down to 22 degrees at night. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba will highs reaching 40 degrees and lows standing at 29, the JMD added.
Mercury levels will rise few degrees on Monday creating relatively hot weather in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will remain hot in other regions with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD noted.
A slight in temperatures is expected Tuesday, but similar summer conditions will continue to prevail in the mountainous areas and the plains, while hot weather will continue in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the department further said.
