Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A rise in temperatures is expected on Tuesday and Wednesday becoming 4-6 degrees above their annual average and creating hot conditions across the Kingdom with northeasterly to northwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Daytime temperatures forecast for today will peak to 36 degrees Celsius in Amman, while it will reach 33 in the northern and southern cities, dropping down at night to 22, 21 and 19 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 42 degrees and lows standing at 29, the JMD said.
Mercury levels will few degrees on Thursday, bringing relatively hot conditions in the hilly areas and the eastern plains, while it will still hot in other parts of the country, the JMD added.
