Hot conditions forecast for three days

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in mercury levels is expected on Monday bringing relatively hot weather in Amman, the hilly areas and the eastern plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 34 degrees Celsius, 32 in the northern cities and 31 in the southern parts dropping down to 21, 22 and 21 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 40 degrees and lows standing at 30, the JMD said.
A further rise in mercury levels is forecast on Tuesday, becoming 3-5 degrees above their annual average, creating hot conditions across the country until Wednesday, while winds will be northwesterly moderate, the JMD added.
