On Twitter, Ayman Safadi wrote that the Knesset’s approval of the bill is null and void under international law. He added that Israel continues to adopt “illegal unilateral decisions that deny [the] region the peace it deserves.” On Tuesday, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’s spokesperson Nabil Abu Rdainah condemned the United Jerusalem Law and US President Donald Trump’s Jerusalem recognition. “This is a declaration of war against the Palestinian people and their political and religious identity,” Abu Rdainah said.
