During a meeting with governors at the Interior Ministry in the presence of Prime Minister Hani Al-Mulki and other officials, His Highness said it was important to direct investments towards governorates, especially that the economy is the biggest challenge that faces Jordan. Prince Faisal stressed the importance of the decentralization scheme to achieve comprehensive reform as it would enhance public participation in decision-making and accelerate achievements in various fields. During the meeting, the prime minister reviewed measures that have been taken to achieve decentralization objectives as well as development in light of the security and stability that prevails in Jordan.
