Moderate conditions forecast until Wednesday

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Moderate conditions are expected to prevail on Monday in the hilly areas, while it will be relatively hot in the Badia regions and hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, according to the Jordan Metrological Department (JMD) daily brief.

A slight in mercury levels is forecast on Tuesday, becoming few degrees below their annual average and creating relatively hot conditions in much parts of the Kingdom with low clouds, mainly in the northern and central areas. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, causing dust in the eastern and southern regions.

Another slight in temperature is also expected on Wednesday, but similar moderate conditions will continue to prevail across the country, with low clouds and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, blowing dust in the eastern and southeastern parts of the Kingdom, the JMD added.

Daytime temperatures expected today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 32 degrees Celsius dropping down to 19 degrees in the capital and 17 in the northern areas. Mercury levels in Aqaba will jump to 40 degrees sliding to 26 at night, the JMD said.
