The meeting stressed the need to boost cooperation between Jordan and the EU, mainly in the economic field, and continue coordination and consultations on various regional and international issues to achieve security and stability in the region and the world. Talks also covered the peace process and efforts to revive peace negotiations between the Palestinians and Israelis. The King affirmed the importance to intensive work to re-launch serious and effective peace negotiations between the Palestinians and Israelis based on the two-solution to the end the conflict. The meeting, which was attended by the Royal Court chief and the director of the King's office, also dealt with crises facing the region, efforts to find political solutions to them, the impact of the Syrian refugee crisis on Jordan and the war on terrorism.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II received at Al Husseiniya Palace on Monday, Friends of Jordan group and the Delegation for relations with the Mashreq countries at the European Parliament, and discussed with them Jordanian-European ties and the latest regional and international developments.
