Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The weather will continue to be moderate and pleasant in most parts of the Kingdom, while it will be warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with low clouds in the northern and central regions .
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief, temperatures will rise on Tuesday, but spring weather will continue to prevail in the hilly areas and the Badia region, while it will relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with southeasterly moderate winds changing to northwesterly moderate to light at times.
A further rise in mercury levels is forecast Wednesday, becoming 4-6 degrees above their seasonal average. Therefore, it will be warm in the hilly areas and relatively hot in other parts of the country with high clouds and easterly to southeasterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in much of the country will range between 20-22 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 11 degrees in Amman and 10 in the northern regions and the southern regions. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 31 degrees dropping down to 23 at night, the JMD added.
