Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Monday and Tuesday, bringing spring conditions in the hilly areas, the Badia and the eastern plains, while it will be warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with clouds at various altitudes.
Cloudy skies are also expected in the afternoon with a chance of showers in different parts of the country, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
A further rise in temperature is also forecast on Wednesday, but similar weather conditions will remain with westerly moderate to southwesterly light winds, the meteorologists said.
Daytime temperatures expected in Amman and the southern region for today will reach 24 degrees Celsius, dropping to 13 degrees in the capital and reaching 11 in the southern areas. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 31 degrees sliding down to 20 at night, the JMD added.
