Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively cold conditions are expected to prevail Wednesday in the hilly areas, with clouds gathering in the afternoon bringing heavy rain in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Daytime temperatures forecast in most parts of the country except in the Gulf of Aqaba will range between 13-15 degrees Celsius, dropping to 5 degrees at night in the capital and southern regions. Mercury levels in the port city of Aqaba will reach a high of 26 degrees sliding to 13 at night, the JMD added.
Temperatures will slightly over the next two days, but it will remain relatively cold and partly cloudy with a chance of light rain across the country and northwesterly strong winds stirring dust in the southern and eastern regions.
