Home Jordan News King receives Qatari foreign minister 08-03-2017 02:24 PM Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Wednesday received Qatari Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed Abdulrahman Al Thani and discussed Jordanian-Qatari ties, as well as Arab issues of common interest. During a meeting at Al Husseiniya Palace, His Majesty highlighted the importance of coordination on various regional issues and the need to exert efforts to enhance and institutionalize joint Arab action. The meeting also touched on the upcoming Arab summit which will be held in the Kingdom later this month. His Majesty said that convening the summit in light of the challenges facing the Middle East region, will provide an opportunity to enhance Arab unity and overcome crises in the region. Al Thani conveyed the greetings of Emir of Qatar, Shiekh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to His Majesty and his desire to boost ties with the Kingdom in various fields. The meeting was attended by the foreign minister, the director of the King's office and the Qatari ambassador to Jordan.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Wednesday received Qatari Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed Abdulrahman Al Thani and discussed Jordanian-Qatari ties, as well as Arab issues of common interest.
