Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively cold conditions are expected to prevail Thursday and Friday, with light scattered of showers in the central and northern parts of the country, according to Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) daily brief.
Daytime temperatures forecast for today across the country will reach15 degrees in the capital and the southern regions, while they will jump to 19 in the northern parts of the country, Mercury levels are forecast to plummet during the night, ranging between 5-6 degrees in the central and northern parts and sliding to 2 degrees in the southern governorates. Temperatures expected in the Gulf of Aqaba will reach 26 degrees Celsius dropping down to 11 degrees at night.
On Saturday, conditions will start to stabilize with a slightly rise in temperatures across the country, but it will remain relatively cold in the hilly areas and the Badia regions with warm conditions in the Jordan Valley and northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
